Ok so, we left off looking at the Aces - the fantastic potential and possibility of new beginnings! Now let's keep going.

Continuing With The Pips...
Quick reminder on the suits:
The reading method is to take the numerology + the suit/element + the image/story that YOU see.
Again it's important to note that this is just ONE possible way to look at the cards, the messages you receive during your divine conversations are not only unique to you but also, "right" for you! What I am sharing with you in this series are some generally accepted guidelines for interpretation. Above all the number one rule is read with pure delight and the joy of connection! Trust in the process and in yourself and the messages you receive through sight, sound, feeling or intuition are meant to be shared with you and are a part of the conversation for you.
Quick Note: I'll be going through this entire series of tarot tutorials throughout the month of October... if you want notification as soon as the next lesson is posted be sure to sign up for Glinda's Guidance email!
- Ghosts -Cups - Water = Emotions
- Pumpkins - Coins - Earth = Resources
- Bats - Swords - Air = Thoughts / Conflict
- Imps - Wands - Fire = Enterprise / Creation

Let's move on to the 2s!
And now let's move on to the 2s:
The numerology: 2 - is a number of partnerships (1 becoming 2 - makes sense right?), sharing, harmony, balance, contrast/opposites, negotiation & compromise, a choice.
The Aces now recognize something outside of themselves and start to interact with the world in a new harmonious way that is not completely self-serving.
Now let's "read" the cards (to read them means to assign a meaning to the image in the context of the question) combine: number + suit + image/story = meaning
Two of Ghosts- the first thing you may notice is the two very sweet ghosts looking longingly into each others eyes... that feels like a clear connection to me. In fact, the 2 of Cups is frequently referred to as the first date card, you can probably see why given the image.
Of course also notice the 2 headed snake indicating perhaps 2 sides to the story. And in this one kitty is flying above them like an angel as if in approval!
Some possible meanings then: a new partnership (could be romantic or platonic) or hearing both sides of the story or balancing both sides of the story. I used the formula 2 + emotions + connecting / appreciating one another.
Two of Imps - we have two imps seemingly at odds with a level headed pumpkin man seeking to help bring them together, yet keep them at a safe distance. I'll bet these two have very passionate ideas about where they'd like to take their business and just need a neutral party to help them see eye to eye on their strategies.
Possible meaning then: this could very well be a planning meeting for the new business partnership! (2 + enterprise/business + conflicting yet passionate imps raised to see eye to eye.)
What do you see?
Two of Pumpkins - immediately with this one I see a darling circus clown juggling his two pumpkins (his resources), looks like he's got some good money coming in (the smiley pumpkin) but also has to keep paying the bills (the scary pumpkin).
Possible meanings: balancing finances or budgeting. (2 + resources + image of juggling clown)
It really can be this simple when you are reading - did you feel an immediate sense of balance when you looked at this card? You might have even told yourself an unconscious story right off the bat like I did - great money coming in but also money going out. Simply let your intuition / gut instinct guide you.
Two of Bats - ok what is she not seeing, refusing to see or simply no looking at right now? She's got two bats flying above her head - looks a little like the angel and devil on each shoulder and yet, they both look neutral in their expression. Perhaps this is just two thoughts or ideas and she's not yet willing to chose one over the other. Even kitty in uninterested in entertaining those thoughts (bats) at this time... there's a little pumpkin toy on the ground that seems much more appealing.
Possible meaning: at an impasse, unable or unwilling to make a choice at this time or even pausing to think about it a bit more. (2 + thoughts + image of blindfolded angel)
Do you feel like you are getting the hang of this?
If you have your own tarot deck, even if it's NOT the Halloween Tarot, you can apply the same method to read messages from your cards. Give it a try and let me know what you find!

Now... shall we move on to the 3s?
Moving on to the 3s!
The tarot* numerology of 3: ever heard the expression easy as 1, 2, 3? It implies a simple solution or reaching a conclusion. Or there are 3 sides to every story: mine, yours and the truth. We were 1, then we joined with another and now we've come to our first completion or the result of that integration of two energies. Think of this like a 3-legged stool - you have the basis of something upon which to build or grow but, your journey is nowhere near done.
3 is a number of growth and expansion but also of communication and self expression. A number of manifesting and manifestation.
*tarot numerology is different than traditional or astro numerology. Though there can be some overlap with traditional numerology, the numbers in the suits show a progression from conception to completion.

Now let's combine that with our suits and our images for the 3s of the Halloween Tarot:
Three of Bats - seems that 3 bats have stolen my heart and have created a thunderstorm (note the black kitty has his hair raised and is left in the rain). Not very pleasant really. What happened? Was there some terrible misunderstanding? Have an intellectual debate turned into friendship lost?
Possible meaning: recall that bats (swords) can represent conflict as well as thought... here it feels like a conflict has left me broken hearted or at least emotionally wounded.
Three of Ghosts - well now this one feels much better to me, nearly the opposite of the three of bats, instead of my friends hurting me here they look like they are all raising a glass to me in celebration! We are collectively supportive and feeling quite happy.
Possible meanings: celebration, support and encouragement, friendship
Three of Imps - hmm, is that what we planned? Three imps at a curious point about the best laid plans to produce a burning bush. Two of them clearly agreed bringing fire was the best approach to yield results while one thought the bush would be the best. So, while they are at least on the same page about the end game, this is not quite a done deal until we see how this unfolds. Who has taken correct action?
Possible meanings: this could be a "wait and see" moment, a bit of a not quite sure yet but, it looks promising
Three of Pumpkins - kitty is saying "oooh, I love what you've done with the Halloween decorations! The vestibule looks great! It's an improvement."
Possible meanings: consultation, feedback, reward for a job well done so far
The tarot is truly subjective. You can have 3 readings from 3 different readers and receive 3 different messages because all divine conversations are unique to the channel. This is also meant to be a reminder to you that what strikes you as the message is the message! No matter how out of left field that may seem.
For instance, you may look at the 3 of Ghosts in response to a question and the braided tail of the ghosts stand out to you and immediately you realize - oh my word - they're going to "tie the knot"! You see tarot can also be playful!
Next tutorial we'll continue with the Pips. Until then, I hope you attract divine partnerships and create wonderful foundations for your journey along the yellow brick road.
